During the bi-annual “21 Days of Prayer” at my church, one word kept coming to me again and again — Create.
I had dabbled in woodworking for years, but never found the time or space to fully dedicate myself to it. That shifted after a season of prayer, when I came away with a clear vision: a cross crafted from wood and epoxy.
When I got home, I put that vision into practice and designed what I had seen — a cross framed in cherry, walnut, or ash, with open angles and flowing epoxy poured through the center. The result was something both beautiful and deeply personal, a reflection of my journey as an artist.
Ozark Cross Company was born from that experience. It’s how I share this work with others — turning prayer into purpose and vision into craft. Every cross is made with that same intention and carries that same heart.
About Our Crosses
Each cross starts with hand-selected hardwood pieces placed in a mold. A thin layer of clear epoxy locks them in place, then I build up multiple layers of custom-colored resin around the grain for beautiful depth.
Once cured, I hand-sand through multiple grits until smooth, then apply several coats of Odie’s Oil for a rich, natural matte finish. A glossy flood coat is available as an option.
Every cross is made with care, so the faith and heart behind it shows through in every finished piece.
